I received several treats lately. First of all, Dan had these lovely flowers delivered for Valentine's Day.
They were especially appreciated and cheered me up while I had the flu! Which leads me to another happy - no more flu!
With the two personal business days I took off from work to prepare for the baby shower and then getting sick and missing 5 more days, I felt far removed from the workplace! I greatly missed my colleagues who were very sweet to me while I was under the weather. Working with them makes me very happy.
Speaking of my colleagues, this is a gift I received from them at the baby shower last week. A towel, washcloth and baby wash.
Then I received a Grow Your Blog giveaway. I had no idea when I started blogging that this kind of exciting stuff was going on in blogland!
Elizabeth Johnson of Wind and Honey Creations sent a beautiful signed copy of her Dancing Swan to me. She wrote a sweet note on what looks like her art as well! I can't wait to run out and choose a frame for it. I will find a special place for it in my new upcoming craft room (I will share more about this exciting project soon)! Thank you so much, Elizabeth! I just love it!

Kandyce sewed a hood into this towel for my little grandson's head when we dry him off after bathing him at our home. She said we will need this - she has experienced this with her two darling babies. I can't express how much this gift means to me. It makes me so happy.
And speaking of the baby shower, we received this beautiful thank you card from Danny and Natasha for hosting it last week. Gosh...look at the little curled toes.
And here is a close up of the beautiful pendant they gave me at the shower.

They also gave me this little book to complete and a card.
Danny and Natasha are very thoughtful and generous. They arrived to our home with Chicago pizza and beautiful salads, and they bought my lunch, paid for my manicure/pedicure and showered me with these gifts while here! I so look forward to holding their precious new baby in April! Needless to say, I'm happy!

I am still waiting for 2 more Grow Your Blog gifts in the mail and a download for a book!
On Saturday, I stopped at a Premier Designs jewelry party and won this door prize! I love anything zebra, so I was ecstatic when Kandyce told me I had won it!
My colleague, Kandyce, is a sales rep for Premier Designs. She wears it to work all the time and looks like a model. She's beautiful inside and out! Thank you, Kandyce for this gorgeous enhancer.
And finally, this dressmaker form was delivered this week. I ordered it from Pottery Barn with some money left on a gift card. It's actually for jewelry, but I have plans for it also in my upcoming craft room!
I thought I would share these treasures with you because I love to see what other bloggers receive! I am grateful for the people in my life, including you. Life is good!

Omgoodness its treat central over here! I love the baby shower gift you received, I have one coming up soon for my neice, and the hooded towel is indeed so practical. I got one for my kids when they were tiny and on a cold bath night these certainly are wonderful and keep baby so warm after a bath!

ReplyDeleteMy only question is "Why haven't you bought a lottery ticket yet?" :)
ReplyDeleteLove it all, Patty, especially the cute baby shower gift. How simple and adorable. I use a dress form on my art table to hang tags I receive from my blogging friends. There are so many pretty uses for them. Can't wait to see what you make with yours.
ReplyDeleteNot posting at this time, but will continue visiting.

I love your post, Patty. It has that spirit of gratefulness that I love, and people who are grateful are much happier people. Love that little hoody towel. I'm going to be a grandmother for the first time and that is so perfect. Glad you are feeling better.
