My Happy List: Birthday & Baby Shower

Celebrating Ashleigh's birthday makes me very happy. She just missed being a Valentine baby by a few hours. I took gifts to her workplace because we knew she would be busy on her special day.



We gave her a bed cover that fit nicely on one of the Mattress Firm beds she sells lol. We also gave her the purse; she's crazy about the color.

The baby shower Ashleigh and I hosted for Natasha couldn't have been lovelier. We made many happy memories to last a lifetime!

Gigi's cupcakes were delicious! These are the mini sized ones which were enough sweetness. I think the regular sized ones would have been too much of a good thing!





The centerpieces were a hit!






The iced tea was refreshing


and the food was delicious.


The parents-to-be were very excited and glowing!


There were many beautiful gifts. 









And speaking of gifts, I was given a beautiful pendant on a chain. It says "Just knowing you are my grandma makes me smile."



 Natasha loved the cupcakes!


And we had lots of laughs, including those from the diaper game. Everyone wrote a little something on a disposable diaper so Danny & Natasha could get a little chuckle in the middle of the night when they get up to change little baby ?.





So that's my happy list for this week!

  2. Really cute shower decor! Love the yarn pompoms. The cupcakes with pillows of icing and blue sugar sprinkles look so yummy. And the diaper that says "I want Daddy to change this one"... Priceless! :-)

  3. Awww...that necklace is such a special gift. :-)

    Those diapers with notes are a great idea! They're sure to bring the new parents lots of smiles and chuckles in the near future as they use them and for years and they remember them. I'm going to remember that idea and hope to use it someday. :-)

  11. Oh my gosh! This is such a fabulous post. The baby shower decor was just too cute and I literally laughed out loud when I saw the messages written on the pampers. Too funny! I might have to borrow that one one day.
