I know the holidays are over but this year I am going to be preparing for next holiday season all year long instead of waiting until Thanksgiving weekend! I have decided to post a holiday project each month. This way I will get things accomplished. This month I am featuring a Christmas stocking made out of a Goodwill sweater I picked up for a couple dollars. I just got a new sewing machine, so I had to check it out, right?!
I was totally inspired by this one. Thank you Kim from Savvy Southern Style!

As lovely Ricki Jill from Art At Home would say *squee* - that's how I feel about this stocking and my new sewing machine!

I'm always interested in making anything of old sweaters. Your stocking is lovely. By the way, I've found your post coming from Claudia. Have a nice weekend. Regula
