Keep Calm

This post was inspired by a visit to Beth's blog: Beyond The Garden Gate.

I start back to work TOMORROW!

I am the Lead Nurse for a school corporation of 15,000 students. Each school has a full time nurse with 17 nurses in all. When school ended in June, we knew one of our nurses was retiring. About the second week of June, three more nurses resigned! I about lost my mind!

At that time I was shopping for iPhone cases and saw this:

I really connected with this saying and decided it was going to be my life slogan since I had my son's wedding on my mind too.

Through Beth's post, I found that you can create your own Keep Calm poster. I like to use visuals at my nurse meetings, so I made this for a laugh for our back to school nurse meeting this week:

If you want to create your own Keep Calm poster, you can do it here.

For an explanation of what this poster means, you can read about it here.

Thanks Beth for providing this link for us! It was fun creating this poster and I think our nurses will enjoy it!

I couldn't stop there...had to make some more...

You can make your own Keep Calm posters here.

  1. Hi Patty! Love your Keep Calm posters, and thanks for the shout out. I had fun making them too. I am a nurse too (retired/semi-retired). Good luck as you return to work; summer went too fast, didn't it?!!
    Hugs and blessings, Beth

  3. Patty!!!!! I just opened your amazing package of goodies and here I sit surrounded by paper dolls, all kinds of pretty, and salt water taffy which I purchased yesterday. Is it Christmas Day already?!? :) LOVE it all. By the way, I only expected the chandelier set. You are way too generous. Beautiful work too. Oh, the possibilities with those paper dolls now. Off to daydream some more. Thank you, love. You made my day.
Hoping your first day at work was a great one.
    XOXO's,
    Marcia
